1. ELIGIBILITY. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER AND WIN. Open to all recipients of this email and who are 18 years or old at the time of entry. The Sweepstakes is not open to employees of Yamaha Corporation of America (“Yamaha”) or their immediate family members. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Additional restrictions may apply. By entering the Sweepstakes, all entrants agree to abide by the Sweepstakes’ Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws apply.

2. ENTRY AND ODDS. The Sweepstakes begins on January 1, 2007 and ends June 1, 2007. Registering at SteinbergUsers.com will automatically enter you in the Sweepstakes. To be entered into the Sweepstakes without registering, Send your name and contact information to sweepstakesonly@steinbergusers.com. All entries must be received by June 1 , 2007 at 11:59 PM (pacific standard time). Yamaha is not responsible for automated, lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries or for any human, technical or electronic malfunction, error or failure. Limit one entry per person. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

3. SPONSOR: Yamaha Corporation of America is the sponsor of the Sweepstakes and is located at 6600 Orangethorpe Avenue, Buena Park, California 90620, Attention: Pro Audio & Combo Division.

4. WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION, ETC. Yamaha will hold a random drawing on or about July 1, 2007 and the winners will be selected from all eligible entries received by Yamaha. There will be a total of three (3) winners chosen. Winners will be notified within 3 days of the drawing date by email. The winner must respond to the email within 30 days or such winner will be disqualified, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing.

By accepting the prize, each winner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state and local taxes. Each winner agrees to allow Yamaha to use their name for compliance with this Sweepstakes without compensation. For notice of sweepstakes winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by May 15, 2007 to: Yamaha Corporation of America, 6600 Orangethorpe Avenue, Buena Park, California 90620, Attention: Pro Audio & Combo Division, and will be available when all winners have redeemed their prize.

5. PRIZES AND VALUE. A total of three (3) prizes will be awarded; 1st prize consisting of a Yamaha GO46 Firewire Audio Interface, Cubase Studio 4 sequencing software, and a pair (2) of Yamaha HS50 studio monitors (retail value of $1,437.99), 2nd prize consisting of Cubase Studio 4 sequencing software (retail value of $499.99), and 3rd prize consisting of Arturia Analog Factory VST instrument software (retail value of $249.00). No transfer or substitution of prize is allowed, except that Yamaha reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value. Yamaha will not be responsible for lost or misdelivered prizes due to entrant’s inaccurate or improper information. Yamaha will not be responsible for lost or stolen prizes once received and in possession of prizewinner.

6. ADDITIONAL TERMS. If, for any reason, Yamaha is unable to participate in this Sweepstakes as planned due to technical failures, such as those caused by computer virus, hacking, other unauthorized interference, fraud, or any other cause beyond the control of Yamaha which obstructs or otherwise adversely affects the proper administration, reliability, fairness, or integrity of its Sweepstakes, Yamaha reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw from its participation in the Sweepstakes. Yamaha is not responsible for late, lost, misaddressed or misdirected entries and assumes no responsibility for any failure in transmission, however caused, including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line failure, theft or destruction of information or unauthorized access to entries, their damage or alteration. Yamaha is not responsible for the failure to receive an entry due to software failure, technical problems, human error or transmission congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: YAMAHA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER PENALTIES, OR REMEDIES, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FROM ANY PERSON(S) ATTEMPTING TO DELIBERATELY INTERFERE WITH THE CONDUCT OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR TO DAMAGE ITS WEB SITE.

If a person submits an entry and is not the user of the email address as indicated on the email account, such person will not be deemed the entrant.

7. GENERAL. By entering the Sweepstakes and/or accepting the prize, recipients (1) accept and agree to be bound by the Official Rules; (2) agree to release Yamaha Corporation of America, its parent, its respective partnerships, subsidiaries, divisions, branches, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability, claims, action or proceedings relating to the Sweepstakes and from any damages relating to the acceptance or use of the prize; (3) Prize Winner consents to the use of its name, photo or likeness for advertising and promotion purposes in any medium without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
