Greetings guys....I am adressing a question to BAD MISTER, and to all who know rumours, or real facts about this:

= Is there any chance, that Yamaha realease an OS update for Motif XS, with the functionality of Motif XF, less the Flash related advantages ?

= I mean with different instruments in diferent scenes, diferent volumes per scenes, etc.

I know, I will be able to do some of this with Karma Technology available soon, but Live, I want to be as free as posible, without laptops, pc-s etc.

Already done. Did you not get version 1.60
Adds features already resident in the Motif XF including:
_ Additional menus in Sampling Edit/Sampling Main display
Normalize, Slice, and Remix have been added to the Sampling Edit display and Sampling Main display respectively, allowing you to more easily call up these displays.

_ Deleting Waveforms with the same name (same as the XF)

_ Editing and storing a Sample Voice as a Mixing Voice
You can now convert a Sample Voice to a Mixing Voice in the Mixing Play display of the Song/Pattern mode, allowing you to then edit the sampled audio as a Voice.

_ Editing a Drum Voice in the Mixing mode
You can now edit a Drum Voice in the Mixing mode. The edited Drum Voice can be stored to the User Drum Bank.

_ Tap Tempo has been added.

And you do realize that the XS is no longer a current product? It was discontinued in 2010
This last update was released in January of 2011.

Ar these two maybe in that last 1.60 OS update ? I am asking because I recently purchased an XS7, and had no time to update it. And I would really like to have these usefull options :D
