NAMM

Summer NAMM is now officially less than one month away…
July 12 - 14, 2012

Anyone else have the finger on your pulse?

Perhaps it’s still too soon, to speculate on what could be the next big workstation/synth ‘adventure’ from Yamaha Corp!!

Anyways, I’m looking forward to seeing some of the amazing new creations and some more futuristic ideas and music gear from all participants involved…

Hello,
It´s really interesting because they may come up with something completely different, continue the motif series… or not release anything new yet.
I´d personally also like to know how well hardware synths sell these days.
When smth new will be released, it will certainly blow us away!

I don’t expect YAMAHA to announce/release their next Keyboard Workstation after the Motif XF line, in the upcoming Summer NAMM 2012 Show. Most likely this will happen during the Winter NAMM Show (2013).

But, meanwhile, I don’t think it is too far fetched for YAMAHA to announce a new Synth. that offers a flexible synthesis technology, integrates with Cubase 6.5 via USB (for both audio and midi), and has a dedicated VST editor for total control, and programming, (something along the Access Virus Ti line).

Oh well, Maybe I’m too optimistic ;-) but this would be my wish for Summer NAMM 2012.

Cheers,
Muziksculp

NAMM, a time to be thankfull.

You can nearly taste the free slushies and creamy smoothies.

I hope there are some sweet dreams come true, from YAMAHA this time around…

Here’s hoping…

I had hoped to hear about or see Yamaha with some new and innovative gear here.

Oh well, perhaps in January…

See ya there…

Looks like there is nothing to get excited about this Summer NAMM 2012. Especially for new Synths/Workstations, unless you need the latest, and coolest Guitar Tuner.

Oh well… I’m sure Winter NAMM 2013 will be full of surprises, and lots new and exciting toys for us with serious GAS issues ;-)

Cheers,

Yeah, but not even a wee tweak of the Motif XF OS?

Yo Yamaha, I’ll be seriously looking for you in the New Year!!

Ah, I still Love you, yes.

But happy to know the XF is still on top of the musical food chain, of my world anyway…
